ok guys i had to post this because i think my friend has mixed home/car audio in one system in a way that i think will be useful to anyone else trying to do something like this.
he in a sense has built his own powered sub complete with its own power, and its own amp, and a pair of 10's. along with with a separate amp for a pair of 15's with a laptop and a 101 disc pioneer cd changer for an audio source. i know this thing sounds great for two reasons. 1 is because i have heard it in person :good: and the second is because the 15's, the 101 disc changer, the laptop, and the pre amp he bought from me all over the course of the last year :clapping: , selling all those things really helped me out of some tight spots so im glad to see they are being used well. he has just recently got this thing up and running in this configuration, also the laptop runs through the 42'' flat screen for movies in surround sound. the laptop is a good piece of hardware, its a toshiba a105-s4397, i belive it has a 1.8ghz intel celeron, and i upgraded it to 2gb kingston mem, it was my linux machine for years. anyway,

he lablled his pics in windows paint for me, so i will let them tell the rest of the story.
