how hard would it be to do a scratch build from 5mm thick MDF... its pretty thin. but its pretty strong.. i guess have to make a metal mobo tray ( idk ) to be more stable...

only be micro atx. get mum 2 pay for it haha...

easy/strong way to hold it togeather? thinking get a 5cm square bit of wood.. like 1 a meter or so of it.. and screw into that?

not sure on a theme/design... lol.... but thatll only take a few hours ( or so.... )

idears? help :)

thanks :)

-- i wouldnt get much time ( probaly 2 or 3 hours a nite.. between time i get home and dinner time lol ) --

sorry 4got who did Massively Disfunctional ( nice case though )... how thick was that wood? how was that holded togeather? lol wouldnt be that big but yeh :P

can make a rustic design, something like a treasure chest or a barrel (already there)
that wood can be used to carve a design
thick wood is best to use to reduce vibrations and prevent damage to hard drives and optical drives

the only problem is the humidity
