hey what's up guys? lov the site so far and i'm eager to read all the posts. i'm currently modding/building a laptop case and i can't wait to finish it and show it off on the site.

I really wanna see what your working on I have a similar project in the drawing table it will be nice if we can share some ideas!

My name is Darren and cars and computers are my passion. I have been working on my car for a long time, but now with the race motor blown up, I am going to take some time off from the car, and focus on my computer.

A little about me. I grew up with computer (34 now). I had the commadore64 and 486 computers growing up, with all the gaming machines (Atari, Coleco Vision, NES, Genesis, and so on.) I went into Electrical Engineering, and got my Bachelor's degree from the Colorado School of Mines. I worked at Intel for 6 years as a Product Development Engineer and a Design Engineer. Then I worked at Mavell for a year as a Head DFT Engineer. I didn't like Marvell too much, then switch over to AMD. I have been a Design Architect for them for the last 3 years. My focus is on the DDR Memory and other high speed PHYs.

I will not talk about any future AMD roadmaps. Also, I can not get you a discount.

Also, I am a cancer survivor, and kicked cancer's ass. I was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I know that I will be asking questions. Going through all the AWESOME builds, you guys have been through it all.

I am looking forward to the case modding showdown. I have my project, Temple of Fusion, signed up.

I will look into the Folding. I know they do cancer research. I have my home desktop in sleep mode most of the day, I can easily run it. It is an overclock AMD x3 720BE, soon to be 1090T. Also have a 4980 GFX card.

Glad to hear AMD/ATI takes care of you guys. The marketing dept help me getting sponsored for my project.

I too miss my old commadore64. I know there is a flash site that has all the old games. Plus I remember that some company bought the brand name.

Well, recently I've listened about of this forum (good stuff of course)!
Specially about its "Case Modding Showdown" contest. So, I decided to register and compete with the best modders around the world!
This will be my second international contest, since the past Case Mod Contest of Overclock.net, where I got the 3rd place in the professional category!

My name is Juan Carlos (aka ne(V)esis), I'm from Guadalajara, Jalisco México.
I'm 23 years old and actually I'm student of Mechanical Electric Engineering. I'm also industrial and mechanic designer.
In the past 4 years, I've designed and manufactured my own line of Water Cooling Systems & accesories, also Aluminium Cases and Mod Accesories (unfortunatelly my host server fall and lost many files of my website, that's why nothing is visible now).

I hope to have a fun, knowledge and friends here, like in the spanish speaking forums!
